Recommended chemical pump models HII

Chemical pumps HII are widely used for pressurizing chemically active, aggressive, combustible, explosive, fire hazardous liquids.

The 5L pump line shown in the tables is optimal for a wide range of tasks.

Recommended Chemical Pump Modifications

In the basic design, the pneumatic drive and the hydraulic part of the pump are separated by a single seal. In case of significant wear of the seal, pumped liquid can enter the pneumatic drive.

To supply reactive liquids, we recommend the following modifications:

• Modification D - intermediate canopy. The double seal separates the hydraulic chamber from the pneumatic pump drive.
• Modification DS - Stainless steel intermediate lamp with leakage diversion to safe area for highly hazardous liquids.
• Modifications E/V1 - EPR/Viton seals for reactive/aggressive liquids.

Chemical design features of HII pumps

• Pneumatic drive is a convenient and safe solution for dispensing combustible, hazardous, aggressive liquids at low flow rates and high pressures.
• Corrosion resistant pump flow: 316 and 15-5 PH stainless steels and special alloys (stellite);
• Absence of lubrication in hydraulic part - pump does not contaminate pumped liquid;
• Modifications D/DS: Intermediate canopy with drain connector for emergency leakage diversion - prevents pumped liquid from entering pneumatic drive in case of emergency failure of pump main seal;
• Wear resistant and chemically resistant plunger seal materials;
• Absence of sparking sources and electrical elements in pneumatic drive design - explosion-proof design;
• Smooth, continuously variable adjustment of pump supply in a wide range of pressures without bypass valves, liquid bypass, automation.
• Due to the peculiarities of the pneumatic drive, the chemical pump HII does not heat the pumped liquid, does not require the installation of a heat exchanger;
• Special versions of pneumatic drive: supply from associated petroleum gas, methane, etc.

Main limitation for chemical pumps HII: pumping of hard, abrasive and fibrous inclusions is not allowed.

Main characteristics of pumps HII

• Drive type: pneumatic;
• Pressure range from 0 to 4000 atm (1-400 MPa);

• The maximum performance for each model is different and depends on the mode of operation;
• Pneumatic drive power supply: industrial oil-free air, nitrogen 5-10 atm (0.5-1.0 MPa);
• Pressure adjustment: smooth, stepless, high precision, in a wide range of operating pressures;
• Feed adjustment: smooth, stepless, medium precision, wide feed range.

Pump Limitations HII

• They are designed to pump contaminated liquids, liquids with mechanical impurities, hard, abrasive and fibrous inclusions;
• Low throughput pumps - limited use for high feed rates;
• Significantly more expensive than similar solutions with electric drive for hydraulic cutting, washing, pressure testing of products with a volume of more than 100 cubic meters, pre-filling of products and systems of large volumes - where constant high performance is required;
• Gas phase is not pumped;
• Not designed for high-precision dosing;
