Hydraulic hosepipe feed and test station

The hosepipe is designed for transmitting both electrical voltage and working fluids and gases to underwater equipment. It consists of a casing-an outer shell, electrical cables, tethers and steel tubes assembled in the form of a spiral into a bundle and quick connection couplings at the ends.

According to the operating conditions, the hosepipe not only requires hydraulic testing, but also pressurizing with the pumped fluid under the required pressure during storage and operation: the hose cable must always be under high pressure of up to 300 bar - this is necessary to compensate for the external water pressure and prevent destruction.

To solve these problems, hydraulic stations based on high-pressure HII pumps with an air drive are successfully used.

The main advantages:

• The ability to connect to work in a constant mode to maintain the pressure in the hose cable without automation tools.
• Simplicity of design. Due to the soft pressure characteristics of the pumps, the hydraulic scheme of the station does not require bypass and heat exchangers, since the pumped liquid does not heat up.
• Mobility. Compared with an electric drive, the weight of the installation is significantly reduced and the equipment can be manufactured in a mobile version. This allows you to move the hydraulic station to the connection point, place it on ships and offshore platforms for crimping and powering hose cables for operation.
• Fire safety. The absence of electrical systems in the station eliminates the possibility of an explosion or fire due to sparking when working with flammable substances, such as monoethylene glycol.
• Maintaining the purity of the pumped liquid. The oil-free design of the pump part does not pollute the liquid supplied through the hose cable.
• Protection against excess or sudden pressure relief that can damage or destroy the hose cable as a result of the operator's actions.
• High corrosion resistance of all components in contact with the liquid.

The unit can consist of one or several modules, which are hydraulic circuits with individual operating pressures for supplying various liquids. The modules are installed on a single universal frame.
