The hosepipe is designed for transmitting both electrical voltage and working fluids and gases to underwater equipment. It consists of a casing-an outer shell, electrical cables, tethers and steel tubes assembled in the form of a spiral into a bundle and quick connection couplings at the ends.
According to the operating conditions, the hosepipe not only requires hydraulic testing, but also pressurizing with the pumped fluid under the required pressure during storage and operation: the hose cable must always be under high pressure of up to 300 bar - this is necessary to compensate for the external water pressure and prevent destruction.
To solve these problems, hydraulic stations based on high-pressure HII pumps with an air drive are successfully used.
