The KGSTEST model GBL-05-D multiphase refrigerant booster is designed for handling variety of refrigerants, including fire-extinguishing refrigerants, freons for refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and other liquefied gases.

When transferring refrigerants in the liquid phase, the GBL-05-D refrigerant booster allows you to perform tasks such as filling small cylinders by weight, pumping from tank to tank, feeding refrigerant into the process, and charging fire extinguisher modules by weight quickly, efficiently, and safely.

The manufacturer limits the discharge pressure to 33 bar as standard, which corresponds to 90% of the tasks of pumping liquefied gases. However, versions for higher outlet pressures are available on request, in order to provide two-stage gas compression with two compressors installed in series, if necessary. Such tasks are often encountered when supplying carbon dioxide to a metering pump when powering styrofoam extruders.

• Displacement per cycle in single-stage design: 0.779 l/cycle.
• Displacement per cycle in two-stage design: 0.389 l/cycle.
• Maximum flow when hadling 100% liquid phase in single-stage design: up to 20 l/min.
• Maximum flow when hadling 100% liquid phase in two-stage design: up to 10 l/min.
• Maximum flow when hadling 100% gas phase in single-stage design: significantly depends on the inlet pressure, as a rule, no more than 400 g/min by weight.
• Maximum flow when hadling 100% gas phase in two-stage design: significantly depends on the inlet pressure, as a rule, no more than 200 g/min by weight.

The manufacturer guarantees the applicability of the equipment when handling the following most common refrigerants:

• Freon R12 - difluorodichloromethane
• Freon R22 - difluorochloromethane
• Freon R32 - difluoromethane
• Freon R134 and Freon R134a are tetrafluoroethane isomers
• Refrigerating Freon R125 / Fire extinguishing freon R125 - pentafluoroethane
• Freon R410a is an azeotropic mixture of difluoromethane R32 and pentafluoroethane R125
• Freon R407C is a zeotropic mixture of difluoromethane R32, pentafluoroethane R125 and tetrafluoroethane R134a
• R290 - propane
• R600a - isobutane
